Longfellow and Tom Megalis team up with Genevieve Gorder, host of TLC’s Trading Spaces, in a series of promotional spots for Sofa Express.

Tom Megalis could be entertainments biggest news in short format films. Comedy Central has inked a deal with the multi-talented Director/DP (animator, actor, etc.) and he’s in discussion with several other channels. “It’s not my first broadband experience. Motherload (Comedy Central’s broadband network) has purchased a number of shorts that I did with Kasunic. But these new deals are to develop new series which based on pilot scripts I’ve written. So I’m really excited about the opportunity.”

Megalis’ focus continues to be directing commercials.”I really hope this creates some buzz around the spot work.”

Historically known as a comedy director, and for good reason, Tom has a surprising portfolio of beautiful, dramatic commercial work. “I love both worlds and I think I have the sensibilities to make contributions to both comedy and dramatic work.”
